Masaryk University was founded in 1919. Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, professor at Charles University and president of Czechoslovakia, was responsible for the establishment of Masaryk University. During the winter, there are conditions for athletics training. The surface is tartan and the track is 200 meters long.
